HON JAMES KLUTSE AVEDZI, STOP PUSHING NEEDLESS DEMANDS IN PARLIAMENT
A statement coming from the Minority Caucus in Parliament and signed by the Deputy Minority Leader Hon. James Klutse Avedzi that they demand a withdrawal of President Akufo Addo’s inaugural address is very unfortunate.
Agenda for Change- Volta (AFC) is disappointed in Hon. James Klutse Avedzi for making that demand because we believe there are more pressing issues he needs to push in order to bring a direct benefit to Ghana especially for Ketu North and the Volta Region than this unnecessary and unproductive thing.
Hon. Avedzi has been in Parliament for a very long time yet he has nothing to account for in the region and his constituency.
The unemployment rate in the region is very high that we always have to travel outside the region after graduation to look for greener pastures.
Will the withdrawal of a Speech from Parliament bring Voltarians jobs in the region?
AFC will advise the Honorable to use his authority as a Member of Parliament and Deputy Minority leader to attract investors into the region so as to help bring job creation into the region than making unnecessary demands that won’t put food on our table.
It’s a pity the Volta region can’t boast of a single industry even though they have been loyal to the NDC since 1992.
Aside that, our careful study of the article he pushed showed it had lots of mistakes in it, badly arranged, badly written with a very shallow content.
It just felt as if he just wanted to be heard without any justifiable reason. It was just a junk of a combination of big English vocabularies with no head and tail.
We now see the reason why Hon. Avedzi was robbed of his Minority leader title for this young Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, because Hon. Haruna would never push such a meaningless and disgraceful article, and may be a reason why even though he is the Minority leader and you being his Deputy, he still left it for you to make a big disgrace of yourself and the whole of Volta region, instead of him as the leader to have pushed it in his name.
