as regards the eviction of some squatters around President Akufo-Addo’s private residence who were evicted not long ago, the opposition NDC has employed a different method to keep the story in circulation for a while.
This time round, they’ve handpicked a video of some aggrieved traders who appear to have been evicted from their places of work, and sharing this video vigorously across various media platforms.
What is a fact is that this circulated video was made in Tamale some months ago, before Christmas. Some clean-up exercises had been conducted by the Tamale Metropolitan Assembly in the Tamale Central Market, and these women got affected in the process, sparking those agitations.
It is a grand scheme by the NDC to create the impression that His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is insensitive and the evicted people are unhappy with him.
The video is just a ploy to make the Akufo-Addo government look bad in the eyes of the people. Their wicked strategy has been exposed.
President Akufo-Addo is focused on the mandate the overwhelming majority of the people gave him. Those who got affected in the eviction have been compensated handsomely. They’re neither gloating nor wailing over the event. Ignore the NDC and their vile propaganda.
