BOSOMTWE ASSEMBLY MEMBERS TO DEMONSTRATE OVER THE BAD STATE OF THEIR ROADS

Two outspoken assembly members of the Bosomtwe district in the Ashanti Region, Hon Terrance kwame Derby (Hon Rasta) and Hon Michael Yaw Nkwanta of Feyiase and Esreso – Prabon electoral area respectively are together with other members of the district gearing up to stage a massive demonstration against the government, Ashanti regional minister and the bosomtwe district assembly over the poor condition of roads in the area.

According to the duo, authorities have refused to attend to their complains about their bad roads and that has become a major worry to the people of bosomtwe.

The said road leads to one of Ashanti regional most visited tourist center lake Bosomtwe which generates much income for the district and the country.

The two angry assembly members also says a bridge at the main entrance to the Bosomtwe district is at the verge of collapsing and that means residents in over 50 communities would not have access to enter or exit from the area should the said bridge suddenly goes down.

They however says either the appropriate offices attend to their problems sooner else face their red spit and also stop their people from paying any tax to the District Assembly
