Works and Housing Minister Kwaku Agyeman-Mensah has told Parliament government intends to inject professionalism into the country’s real estate sector with the introduction of the Real Estate Authority Bill. He said Bill will also end money laundering and illicit and multiple sale of lands. The Minister moved a motion for the second reading of the Real Estate Authority Bill 2014. The Bill, he added will ensure transactions in the sector are properly tracked. The said Bill will also protect prospective land owners and home seekers and will provide training for real estate practitioners.
