High Court orders WAEC to release cancelled results of 20 BECE candidates
The West African Examination Council has been ordered by an Accra High Court to release the results of 20 candidates whose papers were cancelled after the 2017 Basic Education Certification Examinations.
The candidates had their results cancelled after WAEC claimed they had colluded to cheat during the exams. But, they the dragged examination council to court accusing it of breaching their fundamental human rights.
The proprietor of the A to Z Preparatory JHS Godwin Aaron Monyo tells JoyNews the cancellation of the paper dented the school’s reputation.
