Liverpool’s Sadio Mane is a transfer target for Real Madrid, and was on former boss Zinedine Zidane’s wanted list. Mane impressed in the Champions League final against the La Liga side, scoring Liverpool’s equaliser and hitting the post, and it’s believed the Senegal star will still be in their thoughts for a summer swoop once a new manager is appointed at the Bernabeu. (Marca)

Atletico Madrid have made Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani a transfer priority this summer if Antoine Griezmann decides to leave. The Frenchman has been linked with Manchester United and Barcelona, following an excellent season and build-up to the World Cup. It’s believed Cavani was close to joining Atletico two years ago and wanted to play for Diego Simeone, but PSG weren’t keen on a sale. (Mundo Deportivo)

Former Liverpool and Chelsea striker Fernando Torres looks set to announce his new club in the next couple of weeks, according to his father. The 34-year-old is leaving Atletico Madrid for a second time and had been named as a Newcastle United transfer target to play for Rafa Benitez again.

However, it seems Torres’ next adventure is likely to be away from Europe. “It will be a long way away,” his father said at an event on Monday. “He still doesn’t know, but he will say soon, in the next two weeks, for sure.” (Sport)

AC Milan are preparing a package for Lyon’s Memphis Depay which could see midfielder Suso moving in the opposite direction. Depay has regained the form which made him hot property in Europe at PSV Eindhoven, starring for Lyon this season following a poor spell in England at Manchester United. Suso is also a target for Napoli, and it’s believed Milan would be keen on a swap deal for Jose Callejon, putting a potential end to the pursuit of Depay. (Corriere dello Sport)

Inter Milan are plotting a move for Bordeaux’s in-demand attacking midfielder Malcom. The Chelsea target scored 12 times last season for the French club, and now Inter have joined the race. A fee of up to €40million has been suggested, and while no offer has been made yet, it’s believed initial talks have been held by representatives of both clubs. (Gazzetta dello Sport)

Dani Alves’ future at Paris St Germain could be up in the air, following the appointment of new boss Thomas Tuchel. The Brazilian full-back has been the subject of rumours suggesting Tuchel could be looking to strengthen the right-side of defence and midfield this summer. Borussia Dortmund defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos has decided to choose Arsenal as his next club, snubbing interest from Manchester United. That’s the view of his father Charalambos Papastathopoulos, with the player set for €19million move to north London on a three-year contract.

“He is currently in England and will be doing everything he needs on Tuesday,” said the player’s father. “There was also interest from United, but he would have had to wait until July. Sokratis chose Arsenal.” (Sport Bild)
